Location buzz is reaching epic proportions.
Today alone, Facebook and Twitter gave not so subtle hints about their Location ambitions. Google is already in. Yelp is already in. Foursquare and Gowalla are running like hell to stay ahead of the check-in pack – as evidence, Gowalla is apparently sitting on 788 pounds of freshly delivered schwag for the SXSW festivities (or perhaps one large, branded Kangaroo). MyTown is giving out virtual – no, real life energy bars through a partnership with ZonePerfect.
Burbn is up to something. Fourwhere is getting nice press with their mash-up. Postabon just announced funding.
Who else is lurking out there? What other contenders will emerge this weekend in Austin?

PlacePop.com @PlacePop They are a location based reward system with photo capability. Just started testing today.
Yeah, PlacePop is tight. They're light on features so far, but what they have so far is well done. I think they're legit.
