Shido bot for Slack lets you outsource tasks to freelancers from within your channel

Shido is the latest product from freelancing marketplace Speedlancer and it works by connecting you with people who can carry out assigned tasks within 4 hours, directly within your Slack channel.

Tasks can be anything from data-entry to design or content creation.

Speaking about the launch on Product Hunt today, Speedlancer CEO Adam Stone said the most popular tasks include “blog writing, proof reading, press releases, branding, banners, social media graphics, logo refreshes, landing pages and even infographics.”

The services of freelancers through Shido are available 24-7, 365 days a year so it’s a handy resource for startups who might not have full-time staff in every department.

Freelancers on Speedlancer are put through a rigorous six step process before qualifying to work through the platform. With no formal application process, the company prides itself on meticulously inviting workers from quality sources and Stone says that of the people invited, only 20% actually get through.
