Facebook, your number one friend, now makes cute videos for your birthdays

God knows Facebook is the only reason you remember most of your friends’ birthdays. Well, the company is now taking advantage of that monopoly by introducing birthday recap videos, according to TechCrunch.

Recently Facebook’s been on a roll with automated videos. It introduced the ever popular friendship videos in February, and more recently created a nifty slideshow tool. Then there’s the older new years videos as well.

In its usual style, Facebook’s birthday recap videos are cutesy and colorful, automatically editing in photos from your life over the past year as well as comments you’ve gotten on your wall. For that reason, the videos don’t actually appear until the day after your birthday.

You’ll also need at least at least 3 wall comments for the videos to work. We’re sorry if you don’t have that many online friends. We can be pals.
