Make It Fast brings 140-second video chats to Chrome

Make It Fast brings 140-second video chats to Chrome

It’s hardly tricky to organize a video chat with someone. Besides Skype, Google Hangouts and FaceTime, there’s an ever growing (and usually quite irritating) army of options.

If you want to keep it quick, here’s an interesting alternative: Make It Fast is a Chrome extension that lets you video chat with friends straight from any tab. It limits you to 140 second chats and only lets you speak to the same person twice an hour.

I love those constraints – it means you stick to the point and aren’t tempted to keep bugging the same people – but right now, you’re restricted to logging in using Product Hunt.

Once Make It Fast comes with Twitter or Facebook integration, it could really take off. In the meantime, if you’re a Product Hunt fan and have friends there, it’s fun.
