It seems to be the week for updates from companies we first heard from at last year’s TNW Europe Conference. Following on from the launch of Tyba, food tracking and advice app, Nutrino for iPhone, has today hit version 2.0.

New in this version is the ability to set health goals (like losing weight or gaining muscle mass) and have the app tailor its recommendations to help you achieve those goals. You can also log exercise, get food recommendations based on activities detected by on-device sensors and take tests to get a feel for your ‘heart age’ and risk of getting diabetes.

The UI could be a little more focused – the app sometimes feels like it’s trying to throw too many things at you, but if you’re looking to eat better, you could to a lot worse than check out the new version of Nutrino. An Android version is promised to arrive soon.
