Sunrise brings its stellar calendar app to the Mac

Sunrise has already made a name for itself on iOS, Android and the Web, but today it’s catering to Mac users with a new, native calendar app.

In fairness, its look and functionality are almost identical to the Sunrise website and Chrome app that launched back in May. If you’re already familiar with either of those incarnations, you’ll have trouble telling them apart.

There are a couple of features worth considering, however. The new desktop app supports native Mac notifications for reminders and also a full offline mode. It’s a small leap forward, but if you’re after the definitive version for your iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro or Mac Mini – this is probably it.
