Nudge aggregates your health and fitness data from multiple apps and trackers

Nudge aggregates your health and fitness data from multiple apps and trackers

With the quantified self movement in full swing, you can now track and monitor every movement, learn when you’re drinking too much coffee, discover how well you sleep, and even lose weight.

But with so many different apps and gadgets for different facets of our lives, it can be difficult to keep on top of everything. This is where Nudge wants to help.

Available for iOS for a few months already, Nudge has now officially landed on Android too following an extended beta period. It basically allows you to sync your various health and fitness tracking apps and devices under one digital roof, with an overall ‘Nudge Factor’ ranking your health and fitness holistically.

After giving it your pertinent stats, including age, gender, weight and so on, it asks you things like how much water you typically drink, how much fruit you eat, and more.

Once in, you can sync up your Fitbit or Jawbone UP wearables, while the apps it current supports are Moves, RunKeeper, Strava and MapMyFitness.

It’s a shame there’s no support here for the likes of Runtastic or the myriad of alternative trackers, though the just-launched Android version does support Sleep as Android.

Over time, your aggregated data will be used to compile a picture of your fitness and health. Something that is clearly missing from the fragmented health-tracking market.

It’s nicely designed and has much potential, but as noted already there needs to be more third-party app and device integrations here. If you happen to use Moves, RunKeeper, MapMyFitness and UP, then this could well be for you.
