Topguest launches mobile apps for earning exclusive rewards and travel perks through check-ins

Topguest launches mobile apps for earning exclusive rewards and travel perks through check-ins

Check-ins are all the rage.  One can use Foursquare, Gowalla, Brightkite, MyTown, and Facebook Places, to name a few.

Foursquare and Gowalla are those I prefer to use because they offer an element of fun, are well-designed, and provide tips, deals and more when I check-in.  Conversely, Facebook Places only garners my attention when they offer something of value, free jeans from The Gap for example.

What does this mean?  For yours truly the implication is that an app should be enjoyable to use, feature a slick design AND offer something of value before I will use it.  Hence the reason to use Foursquare and Gowalla over Facebook Places.

With holiday travel going full bore, Topguest has launched their travel club membership apps for iPhone, Android and iPod touch users, offering real points and travel perks for your check-ins.

Topguest now has free apps for the iPhone, iPod touch, and Android devices, to accompany their site, which frequent travelers will appreciate.

The version for the iPhone and iPod touch are super simple to use.  Download the app, connect your Foursquare and/or Facebook account and you’re ready to start collecting bonus hotel points, air miles and exclusive perks delivered straight to your phone from tens of thousands of leading hotels, restaurants, clubs and bars around the globe.

Not sure where you’re staying, or simply want to earn the best rewards available?  Topguest has you covered with “Top Spots” one can peruse to determine where to get the most bang for the buck.

After deciding where to stay, and logging in with Facebook or Foursquare, Topguest will begin doling out rewards.  Super simple to use, with tangible benefits.

In addition to Facebook Places and Foursquare, Topguest also automatically rewards you for check-ins with Twitter, Gowalla and Brightkite.

If you travel at all and enjoy receiving something for nothing, Topguest is a service you will definitely want to check out.
