Oren Michels is well known in Silicon Valley as an entrepreneur and leader in his field- he is the founder and CEO of Mashery-a leading provider of API management services. I spoke to him in 2009 and asked him what he thought it was the year of in terms of technology that would prevail over the coming year. He said 2009 was the year of the API, in 2010 he said it was the year of social and what does he think will dominate in 2010? Apps- with the Andriod platform growing fast, apps enable people to access information in the most efficient way. For distributors and vendors it brings a new platform to sell on.
