Happy Monday, and happy 59 days until TNW Conference! Here’s what my face looked like when I realized how close we are to two days of technology goodness:
There’s a lot coming at you on May 9 and 10, which is why this daily newsletter exists. In case you haven’t read my previous ones (rude), I’ll be highlighting one cool TNW2019 feature and speaker in each edition, until the countdown hits zero. What will today’s be? Let’s find out:
You’re better than everyone
Sometimes it’s important to show off. We don’t do it nearly enough – we’re all special and we deserve some praise every once in a while. If you’re under the age of 26 like I am, it’s even more important. We’re all getting shit done but are constantly told that we’re “still young” and “learning.” That’s absolutely true, but it’s also why we deserve to show off when we do something we’re proud of.
One sure fire way to hear some praise at your next family reunion, tinder date, or house party is to get on the T500 list. At TNW2019, we want to showcase the 500 best under 26s working in tech, together with Accenture. So if you’re working on a cool blog, starting your own company, developing an awesome new app, or anything else you’re proud of, you can sign up for the T500.
If you make the list, you’ll get tons of recognition and perks, both before and during the conference. So do it, and get ready to bask in eternal glory and rub it in everyone’s face. Because, at the end of the day:
Speaker spotlight: Chris Slowe
As Reddit’s CTO, Chris is responsible for making Reddit as accessible as possible. Essentially, when you spend hours procrastinating over kitten gifs or reading ridiculous news, you have Chris and his team to thank for the seamless experience.
If you’re interested in learning what it’s like to build, redesign, and operate one of the world’s most popular websites, don’t miss his TNW2019 talk. He’s got a great sense of humor, so I’ll be there laughing at his puns. I’m not sure I should keep announcing my attendance as a selling point, but I like to think it is.
And that wraps up today’s TNW2019 Daily! See you tomorrow for more conference highlights, and catch up on previous ones right here.
