How to lose track of time while looking at a clock

I’ve just stumbled upon the “Hone Hone Clock”— a weird, acrobatic figure in a ghoulish, flowered mask. The figures dance around the page forming different numbers, which tell you the time. The site has been running for a couple years now but it’s fantastically mesmerizing.
I also don’t know what “Hone Hone” means so my apologies if it’s something awfully dirty. I imagine it means that the images are doubly honing in on your attention span.
Check it out here. Move your cursor over each number on the site for a closer look.
Hat tip to @ChristianMyers for the site.
