OVERVIEW

The Challenge: To attract startups from all over the world to expand their business to Seoul with the help of KSGC, a startup accelerator program supported by the Government of South Korea.

The Solution: By hosting a series of events and by carrying out intense scouting, TNW attracted a wide range of European startups looking to expand their business to Korea. Given the social, political, and economic climate, the dynamic destination - and modern gateway to Asia - South Korea has proven to be quite the compelling choice for launching businesses thanks to its vibrant energy, sound infrastructure, strong governmental support, and other unique advantages.

Results: Over the past 2 years, TNW scouted 572 applicants to participate in the program. 67 startups have successfully opened an office in Seoul and 50% of the successful applicants are expanding further in Asia.
