Just as YouTube revealed a new music subscription service, the Google-owned service has given its iOS app a lick of musical paint in preparation.
The YouTube Mix feature has been available on desktop since last year, while the Android incarnation received the update back in April. Now, it’s available to iPhone and iPad users too.
It basically makes it easier to jump straight in to music mode within YouTube via a dedicated tab, and serves up suggestions via a new dedicated music homepage, with continuously playing mixes based around single artists or related to a particular song. You can also play entire albums directly from Search.
