Winsoft Launches eTasmeem.com: Customizable Arabic Greeting Cards

Arabic calligraphyWinsoft the software firm that has brought Arab designers localized versions of software packages such as Adobe’s Creative Suite 5 (yes the same Winsoft you owe your career to) have launched an online customizable tool for creating greeting cards with the most popular Arabic fonts free of charge.

eTasmeem really helps make pretty cards with custom text  for almost every occasion you might want to type in Arabic for. The interface could definitely use some polishing, and possibly a richer set of fonts, oh and it’s really slow. But definitely worth the wait.

Winsoft International the company behind eTasmeem happens to be one of the least recognized companies in the Middle East, but probably the one with the most profound effect on the graphics industry after they successfully localized Adobe’s Creative Suite software.

The Paris France based company has been hacking software solutions since 1985 and has other impressive products you need to check out if you’re in the online/digital publishing industry. We here at TNW ME have been fans of theirs since Adobe CS 4 Middle Eastern edition. Thanks guys.

If you’ve ever attempted to send greeting cards to Arabs, you have probably discovered that there isn’t a single reliable source for witty/funny greeting cards online. I’d like to take this opportunity to call on all entrepreneurs to please build us an Arab Someecards.

Until then you can send it out greeting cards with eTasmeem and hope someone will come up with a solution to rid us of those ridiculously annoying Facebook Greeting Tags.

If you do happen to create a card, I beg you to not tag your friends on Facebook. If you do a flock of rabid sheep will attack you during your sleep. I swear, I read it in an email so it has to be true.

Here’s a small sample of what you can do with it, just in time for the New Hijri Year which we hope everyone has the absolute best.
