The fine folks over at The Verge have secured and published an shot of the physical packing for Windows 8. The image is sure to stir the wheel of controversy. We’re going to cut right to it, here you go:

Our take is that this is a bit much. Just as the new Windows logo has had perspective issues, these boxes are positively trippy. Said our own Joel Falconer: “Wow. This reminds me of mid-90’s clipart.” Indeed.
