The first official Raspberry Pi case has space age looks but will cost you just $8

The first official Raspberry Pi case has space age looks but will cost you just $8

There’s been a healthy trade in Raspberry Pi accessories every since the pint-sized PC first arrived on the scene, but now you can get your hands on an official enclosure for your beloved board.

The Official Raspberry Pi Case was designed with protecting the Raspberry Pi 2 in mind. It has a removable top, top frame and side panels so you can easily access everything.

Fittingly, the case comes in a white and raspberry color scheme. It’ll set you back just $8.59 (£6) and is available now.

There’s a great post on the Raspberry Pi Blog detailing the team’s two-and-a-half-year journey from idea to execution, which is well worth a read. The case was designed and made in the UK.
