UK budget mobile network Tesco Mobile has announced its price plans for the iPhone but will they trigger a price war between British iPhone carriers?  Martin Bryant takes you through the ins and outs of Tesco’s announcement of the tariffs they’ll be introducing on the 14th December when they officially launch the iPhone 3G and 3GS on their network. Kids to get online safety lessons…we’re getting somewhere!
The Government has outlined plans not only to teach kids how to be ‘net wise’ but also the ambition to include it in the National Curriculum by September 2011.  Kids will get guidance and lessons on how to avoid/deal with online bullying and pedophilia from as young as 5.  (Full Article)

UK music fans could soon be paying a lot less for their downloads. Consumer champion, Martin Lewis, founder of MoneySavingExpert.com has launched a new price comparison service for music downloads. Tunechecker has the potential to save music fans serious money and may have an impact on the Apple iTunes Store’s dominance if the comparison site gains popularity in the UK. (Full Article)


Panic Button for FacebookDon’t Panic! Facebook to support new Internet Safety Code.
Facebook is to add Panic Buttons to its site to enable children to immediately flag up inappropriate and obscene material. The world’s largest social network is one of 140 organisations to sign up to the UK’s new voluntary internet standards to be launched on Tuesday, reports The Sunday Times. (Full Article)
