The French tennis equipment manufacturer Babolat is currently working on a racquet prototype called Play & Connect. As its name indicates, it is actually a fully connected device, which hopes to leverage tech innovation to bring the game of tennis to its next level.

In practical terms, the racquet collects real-time data every time it hits the ball, a technology that could transform it into a very useful tool for players and coaches, especially during practice.
