Here’s a nifty — and not to mention quirky — visual summary of the surface-level changes that will affect Apple devices when iOS 7 becomes available for all users on September 18.
Kudos to Gadgetlove.com for putting together this montage which shows the shadow-based icon design of iOS 6 — developed under the tenure of former Apple exec Scott Forstall — morphing into the flat design of iOS 7, which has been developed by Apple’s design chief Jony Ive.
To top it off, there’s the more-than-slightly-haunting Forstall-Ive transformation.
