Itâs not exactly news that people sent tweets to say âHappy New Yearâ as 2014 arrived in their timezone, but Twitter has put together a neat interactive visualization to show how the message spread around the world in a variety of different languages as New Yearâs Day arrived.
The visualization offers both a map and a graph that shows each languageâs frequency over time. Unsurprisingly, Spanish, English and Arabic make the strongest showings across the day.
