Uber launches an Android beta app program to let users test drive new updates

Uber is following in the footsteps of Facebook, Twitter, Waze and others after introducing an Android beta program that lets users get the latest versions of its Android app before they reach the Google Play store.

The beta testing program has opened today and Uber is offering access to its revamped Android app, which it says is a faster and more streamlined experience.
