Twitterrific has updated their iPhone/iPad app with a number of improvements including making the app universal.

The update also includes:

  • Retina display support for iPhone 4
  • Fast switching for iOS 4
  • OAuth for media uploads
  • Tweets passed along to media services when uploading (not sure what this means)
  • “Relationship” information added to user profile screen
  • Simplified user interface for iPhone users
  • VoiceOver accessibility for the visually impaired

However, probably the most exciting new feature is the availability of a lighter colored theme option now available in Settings as seen below:
