Twitter is locking people out of their accounts because it thinks they’re bots [Update: it’s fixed]

Twitter is exploding with news that Jon Stewart is leaving The Daily Show. Too bad some users are being kept from tweeting their hilarious hot take because Twitter thinks they are bots.

Twitter users are being automatically locked out of their accounts because the social network thinks they’re violating Twitter Rules with “automated behavior.”

Update: Twitter is aware of the situation and according to its Status page, says that the situation has been resolved.
