Twitter bug caused tweets, including Ellen’s super-selfie, to disappear [Updated]

Twitter says it is looking into a bug that is causing some tweets not to be displayed. We experienced the problem on TNW’s account and have heard scattered reports from others.

Incidentally, it looks like Ellen DeGeneres’s record-breaking selfie has gone missing, which, depending on how you feel about it, may or may not be a good thing.

Update: Twitter has updated its Status page to note that the issue has been addressed and affected tweets have been restored.
