Try This: Flavorpill’s new iPhone app to help you get some culture

Yesterday, the go-to culture and party site Flavorpill released a sweet new iPhone app. The new app features a sleek re-design with super-fast navigation.

Flavorpill is available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco (with London, Miami, Las Vegas, and Dallas coming soon). They cover the best cultural events in each city, spanning music, art, design, film, theatre, dance, parties and more.

The app’s best features are an in-depth, city-by-city event schedule with price info, a search for nearby events option and fun daily giveaways. With the new app, you can sort content by editor’s picks, save events to your calendar, browse venue, bar, lounge and restaurant listings and read their culture blog, Flavorwire (disclaimer: I used to be a contributor!). It also lets you call venues straight from Flavorpill listings and view events offline. Puma sponsors the app, so you can also check out their special products, video and events. Basically, you now always have an excuse to go out and have a good time. The app is particularly helpful if you’re new to one of their covered cities.

Check out Flavorpill.com here and buy their new app in the iTunes store here.
