I have very exciting news today: the official TNW2019 terrain map is here! It’s over 40,000-square-meters, with tons of new venues and a ferris wheel. I’m so down for this – or rather, I’m so up for this.
With only 44 days left until TNW Conference kicks off, let’s dive into all the best parts of the map. On May 9 and 10, you’ll see it for yourself – but it’s fun to get a sneak peek.
Bigger and better
Last year’s conference was really special. It was held at Westerpark in Amsterdam, and it felt like the festival terrain went on for miles. It had an amazing vibe, with people grabbing beers in the sunshine, eating food, and heading off to the next keynote.
It was hard for me to imagine how we could possibly raise the bar this year, but it’s clear that TNW2019 is going to be even better. We moved to NDSM, a shipyard-turned-creative hub that features graffiti, waterfront views, and a lot of open space. We now have 40,000-square-meters to enjoy, and we’ve definitely made the most of the extra terrain.
With even more venues, a larger business floor, hangout areas, and more, the opportunities are endless. It’s basically an amusement park for techies! If you haven’t got your ticket yet, make sure to get yours now – you definitely don’t want to miss out!
Speaker spotlight: Louise Troen
Louise Troen is the Vice President of International Marketing and Communications at Bumble. If you haven’t heard of this app, I don’t know you.
For the uninitiated, Bumble is a revolutionary social networking app that goes beyond just dating. It encourages women to make the first move, and you can use it to find a partner, a best friend, or a business connection. Bumble has become a household name, and operates across the world.
At TNW2019, Louise will talk about how she expanded the app’s reach outside of the US, and how apps like Bumble will continue to transform how we interact with one another in the future. Don’t miss her speak!
That concludes today’s TNW2019 Daily! Tune in tomorrow for more TNW Conference highlights, and be sure to catch up on previous editions right here.
