We’re ecstatic to host TNW Conference 2021 at Taets Art and Event Park in Amsterdam-Zaandam. Your health and safety is of utmost importance to us, and with an area of over 20,000 m2, there will be plenty of room to celebrate tech with our partners, attendees, and staff, while also keeping all precautionary health and safety measures and standards in check.
Taets is a gorgeous estate, featuring stunning neoclassical buildings near the waterfront, unpolished historical industrial structures, and lush green areas. With their spectacular mix of post-modern industrialism and modernist creativity, Taets just exudes the future of tech.
When you wander outside the grounds, you will enter the perfectly preserved past of the Netherlands’ industrialism era. Zaandam is famous for the Zaanse Schans, where thousands of annual tourists flock to visit its traditional wooden houses, authentic windmills, workshops, and warehouses.
Taets is a little over 10km from the Amsterdam city center. You could take the bike, of course, or go by car, but we recommend travelling via public transport. Taets can easily be reached by a scenic ferry ride, or alternatively, by train and bus.
Follow the signs in Amsterdam Central Station to the ferry terminal, and hop aboard the Zaan Ferry towards Hembrug. It’ll take approx. 30 minutes to reach your destination. Upon arrival, you’ll see signs leading you to TNW Conference 2021. Tickets are available on board.
Board the train for a 10 minute ride to Zaandam Station. From there, you can take bus 63 in the direction of Assendelft via Zuiderhout, or bus 456 in the direction of Assendelft Station Krommenie-Assendelft.
If you take bus 63, disembark at Pieter Ghijsenlaan, and walk 10 minutes in the southern direction towards the ferry terminal. Go left and follow the signs to TNW Conference.
If you take bus 456, disembark at Hemkade. TNW Conference will be right there.
