Tinder reportedly altering algorithm so users can forge ‘deeper connections’

Tinder could be changing its algorithm very soon. According to CEO Sean Rad, the company wants to help users forge “deeper connections.”

Rad says about 80 percent of Tinder users are looking for more than a Netflix and Chill partner, so the company may be looking to get all eHarmony about connections.

“It’s been our mission since day one to uncover every possible meaningful relationship,” said Rad.

According to Mashable, Rad was cagey about details, but we’re assuming Tinder’s algorithmic changes will bring more to its users than super likes and verified profiles.
