What has changed about Tim Ferriss since I met him almost a year ago at The Next Web conference in Amsterdam? Oh not much, his body and mind are sharper than ever, with a little less hair perhaps; possibly owed to the fact that through relentless hard work and dedication, Tim Ferriss has done it again:  Written another bestseller in the shape of The Four Hour Body. The result of an obsessive quest, spanning more than a decade, to hack the human body. It contains the collective wisdom of hundreds of elite athletes, dozens of MDs, and thousands of hours of jaw-dropping personal experimentation. From Olympic training centers to black-market laboratories, from Silicon Valley to South Africa,

The 4-Hour Body debuted at #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List and has spent 3 weeks in the top 3.It peaked at #4 on both the Wall Street Journal and USA Today’s lists and was one of Amazon’s top 5 bestselling books for December 2010 and January 2011.

I took a hike with Tim in our home town of SF where I picked his brain about the transition from his last book The Four Hour Work Week,  (on camera of course) and he answered your Tweets. We talked about which parts of the book were unexpectedly controversial, why there are so many words on the female orgasm and what his next ‘Four Hour’ best seller might be.

Guaranteed Tim is crazy, you have to be a bit of a lunatic to put yourself through the regimes and experiments outlined in the book, but as you’ll see from the interview, Tim is incredibly down-to-earth and one of the genuinely great ‘web celebs’ I have met.
