ThinkUp, a social media insights service co-founded by Anil Dash, is officially looking for a buyer.
In a Medium post, Dash says its current subscriber base does not cover the cost of running the service, and wants to work directly with a company to help offer interesting analysis of their daily social media use.
ThinkUp was founded in 2014 and offers daily emails with insights on your social media engagement rates. For example, it can summarize the keywords you use most use and which generate the most responses, or the time of day your posts are likely to be seen by your specific followers. Last summer, it added Instagram support to provide context to the data it gathered rather than just straight graphs and numbers.
The service is currently run by just two team members – Dash and his co-founder Gina Trapani.
TLDR: As a standalone, paid, consumer service, ThinkUp hasn't grown. But it could elsewhere. https://t.co/0RpIkmlzAp
