The Next Web is looking for 2 interns

The Next Web is looking for 2 interns

You know the deal — You can’t get a job without experience, but you can’t get experience without a job. That’s the way things go these days, right? We’ve all been there, and it sucks. So here’s an offer just for you:

The Next Web is on the hunt for two interns. You’ll be paid (barely) and you’ll get some brilliant experience across the fields of research, writing and digital publishing. Killing two birds with one stone, you’ll be helping us to get more work done, while at the same time beefing up your resumé at one of the fastest-growing technology publications in the world.

Specifically, we’re looking for interns to help out with a few different areas. Here’s a small list, but please understand that it’s nowhere near inclusive of everything.

  • Assisting with TNW Magazine, our next step in digital publishing
  • Research on leads, stories and breaking news
  • Helping to streamline our contacts database
  • Transcription of important interviews
  • Scheduling of meetings for TNW editorial staff

Don’t worry if you don’t have loads of writing experience. That’s not really what we’re looking for anyway. What you absolutely must have is perfect written English, a passion for technology and/or geek culture and a love of content. Oh, and yes we’ll work around your schedule. Though ideally you’ll be available a few hours each day that fall in between morning hours for the UK and afternoon hours for the US.

Sound interesting? Good. The next step is to email us (office@thenextweb.com) and make sure to put “Intern Application” as the subject so that it stands out.
