T-Mobile is giving Pokemon Go players free data through August 2017

If you didn’t think Pokemon Go was the biggest mobile game ever, brands are getting involved. T-Mobile’s Tuesday deals are going full-on Pokemon next week, including free data.

In addition to a free Frosty and a Lyft Ride up to $15 (because you “gotta stay fueled up” to “explore new Gyms and Pokestops”), you’ll also be able to get accessories like battery packs at up to 50 percent off (“to keep playing for hours and hours”).

The data, though — that’s huge. When you play Pokemon Go, it won’t count towards your T-Mobile data plan — and it’s good through August 2017, assuming you’re still playing by then.

And — and — 250 people will win $100 to spend on Pokecoins, and five lucky souls will win trips to anywhere in the US to hunt down Pokemon.

If you haven’t downloaded the T-Mobile Tuesdays app already, now’s a good time. T-Mobile says the free data offer will show up weekly until August 9, though, so no rush.
