StackSocial’s Mac Essentials Bundle has a lot to offer

StackSocial’s Mac Essentials Bundle has a lot to offer

Bundled software packages are becoming more and more popular these days, with the MacHeist and MacUpdate Promo bundles garnering huge interest from Mac enthusiasts on a regular basis. The latest entry into the fray is StackSocial, offering 11 apps from across the software spectrum for Mac users.

Known as its Mac Essentials Bundle, StackSocial has partnered up with several developers, including ones such as Ambrosia Software and Mariner Software that would normally cost over $300 if bought separately. StackSocial is offering all 11 apps for only $44 until Wednesday June 15.

The 11 apps offered in StackSocial’s Mac Essentials Bundle consist of screen-recording tool Snapz Pro X, audio recording and editing software Wiretap Studio, text-to-speech tool Narrator, journalling software MacJournal and the de-cluttering tool known as MacCleanse 2, among others. The bundle aims to offer something for every Mac user. All software in the bundle is the latest publicly available version, includes full sales support, and is eligible for future upgrade paths.

“While the Mac Essentials Bundle is a phenomenal deal, the value is just one component of what we bring to the table. The ultimate issue we’re trying to help users solve for is app discovery.  It can be tough to determine if you really like a piece of software after a 14 or 30 day trial period,” said Josh Payne, co-founder of StackSocial. “We alleviate that issue for users by giving them more time to engage an app and then share that positive experience with their friends and followers.”

StackSocial also has an affiliate program that allows companies or individuals to earn $5 for each referral made, similar to what Productive Macs did with its recent bundle (although it only offered $3 per sale).

The StackSocial Mac Essentials Bundle is available until Wednesday June 15, and Payne said that people should expect to hear a lot more from StackSocial in the future.

Update: StackSocial has just extended the bundle offer for 36 hours.
