The potential for a little deviance here is obvious.
A simple URL hack makes it possible to play any YouTube video in someone else’s profile/channel.
An example would be playing an Osama Bin Laden video on the official White Houses’s channel or a Borat announcement on the Queen’s channel.
The result is relatively harmless but unquestionably amusing (and maybe a little embarassing).
Instructions on how to make it happen after the jump.
To make it happen, visit any channel on YouTube, click a video then replace the numbers at the end of the video with the id for any other public YouTube video.
e.g.
A video on the Queen’s official YouTube Channel has a URL that looks like this:
http://www.youtube.com/theroyalchannel#p/a/0/cC_gpfKKm1U
A Borat video URL is this:
Replace the end ID at the end of the Queen’s video URL with the ID at the end of Borat’s and you have a rather amusing looking video page.
The final URL in this example would be: http://www.youtube.com/theroyalchannel#p/a/0/JFVN59sR4lY
