Following the ousting of Bob Muglia as president of the Server and Tools Business division at Microsoft, a replacement as been found. After extensive work in many Microsoft divisions, Satya Nadella will take over as president.
Satya has 19 years of experience at Microsoft.
According to ZDnet: “It looks like at least one other Microsoft exec isn’t happy with Ballmer’s latest decision. Microsoft announced today that Server and Cloud Senior Vice President Amitabh Srivastava […] is leaving the company.”
The Sever and Tools Business division is a $15 billion business that is responsible for “infrastructure software, developer tools and cloud platform, including products such as Windows Server, SQL Server, Visual Studio, System Center and the Windows Azure Platform.”
