Announced back in August, Samsung’s new Gear S smartwatch is a proper ‘smart’ watch, given you can make calls and go online without a smartphone. And Samsung has now confirmed it’s going on sale in the UK this week.
The Tizen-powered timepiece lets you receive notifications from social networks, calendars and apps, as well as reply to incoming messages using the onscreen keyboard.
The watch will be available through Samsung Experience Stores, the Samsung.com Shop and O2 on November 7, with other UK retailers to follow at a later date.
