Request and receive custom recipes on Twitter in minutes

You’ve had a long day at work and couldn’t be bothered to stop by the grocery store. Your belly is making all sorts of sounds and it’s time you made dinner. The kitchen cabinets only contains three things: onion, tuna and tomatoes. Now you could either ring your mum and ask for cooking suggestions or spend 20mins on Google looking for a recipe. Both options don’t seem that appealing, there must be a better way, and there is with Spanish food brand Galiina Blanca.

All you have to do is tweet the ingredients that you want to use with the hashtag #quieroreceta and it will search through its database and sends you a recipe in a direct message. The response takes a few minutes.

If the brand can’t suggest anything it asks you to look at other options via its website. If you receive a suggestion but would prefer something else then tweet for an alternative recipes: #quieroreceta #otra.

Sadly the service doesn’t work very well in English but seems to be very responsive in Spanish. Anyone willing to quickly set this up for the English-speaking world? This is guaranteed to take off and make a few time-shy people very happy.
