Online music service Rdio has added a new recommendations feature that suggests albums, stations and playlists based on the music tastes of you and your friends. The feature is available on the Web now and is coming to Rdio’s iOS and Android apps soon.

Rdio tapped music data company The Echo Nest for personalized music stations last month, and it will continue to draw on the company for its latest feature. Album suggestions are based on listening history, while station and playlist recommendations draw from a user’s network and location.
