David Cameron proudly declared earlier this month that Barack Obama calls him ‘bro’, but it seems the President’s not as close to him as he thinks. With the help of SocialRank, we discovered that Obama does follow a David Cameron, it’s just not the right one.
A quick double-check using the DoesFollow tool confirms that Obama isn’t among Cameron’s followers, despite the Prime Minister following him. An entirely different David Cameron gets that honor.

Instead of following @david_cameron, the Prime Minister’s official personal account, Organizing For Action – which runs Obama’s account – has been watching the tweets of @davidcameron, who lives in Oregon and uses an image from Back To The Future II as his profile picture.
Sorting through a giant box of 30 year old Lego is surprisingly disgusting.

@BarackObama’s handlers aren’t the only ones to have got confused. Poor @davidcameron’s mentions are full of people castigating him for things they don’t like about the British Prime Minister. Stephen Fry also follows the ‘wrong’ Cameron.
Update:
I am really glad that changing my profile pic makes the guy from The Next Web look like an idiot.
