As we reported during the I/O conference, Google unveiled its own tablet, the 7 inch Nexus Tablet.

I have a full review here, after spending a few days with it.

The price for the tablet is a very reasonable $199 for the 8GB version. As we noted, this is not simply a “competitor to the iPad”, but another way for Google to get more users downloading apps and content on Google Play.
