With the riots and ongoing looting in London, it was only a matter of time before we started to see some of these criminals try to offload illegally obtained merchandise online. While it’s always possible that someone would just have 40 16GB iPhone 4’s for sale legitimately in London after several nights of looting, it’s also very likely that this listing is the result of some enterprising thieves.

    40 Apple iPhone 4’s 16GB – £320 (east)

All these iphones are brand new and sealed. They have not been open from box all are on 02 and come with a years warranty. I can sort out a discount if more than 3 are purchased.

It doesn’t make it any less suspicious that the listing was posted last night, August 8th. UK readers, have you heard of any Apple merchandise being stolen in your area?  If so, let us know.
