This porn bot uses Microsoft AI to watch and interpret Pornhub… all day long

This porn bot uses Microsoft AI to watch and interpret Pornhub… all day long

We’ve previously seen developers load up machines with artificial intelligence to let them see the world with their own eyes, but one guy has put a whole new spin on this concept. Self-proclaimed ‘creative technologist’ Brian Moore has built a bot that uses computer vision to binge-watch and interpret Pornhub.

Developed as part of the Stupid Hackathon dedicated to building projects with “no value whatsoever,” the glorious ‘Robot Porn Addict’ relies on Microsoft’s computer vision service to let the XXX-machine describe what it sees when watching porn.

But there’s one catch: The bot has never seen a smut flick before – so its interpretations tend to be awfully inaccurate… but totally hilarious at the same time.

Here’s a video of the Robot Porn Addict in action:

In case you’re curious to more captions from the AI-powered machine, the Robot Porn Addict also happens to have a Twitter account – but you should probably turn your volume down before heading there.

For some reason, the bot seems to be confusing the act of sex with the act of brushing one’s teeth – though I will agree that both of these could be equally healthy habits.

Also, there seems to be an awful lot of frisbees flying around in porn – or so does the Robot Porn Addict see things at least:

Follow the Robot Porn Addict and check out the rest of its tweets here. Moore told TNW you can expect the bot to post about 10 times a day.
