We admit that we have little idea what this is for but it had far too many members of The Next Web team fixated like kittens with a laser pointer.

Welcome to PointerPointer. Put your cursor on the page as instructed and find the point, well, a point. In fact many points as pointy fingers go.

So far as we can see it’s totally pointless but that’s probably the point about it we love the most.

Don’t blame us when you’re still looking for the point in 20 minutes time. Fun. Up to a point. (Okay, we’ll stop there)

If you not on point with PointerPointer and you’re okay with flash photography, you an also play with Flitser. Using user-generated photos with a big flash in them, the bright lights will follow your cursor around the page through a series of images.

They’re very similar ways to waste a little time in an amusing way. Just think, if someone put them together, they’d have a real flash point. (So sorry.)
