If you own a Pebble smartwatch and have been syncing it with your Android smartphone, you may have become a little frustrated with the WhatsApp integration. Why? Well, because it would tell you that you have a new WhatsApp message, but not tell you what it says.
While there have been some workarounds in the past via third-party apps, Pebble’s own native app now enables full messages, including, importantly, the content of the message.
It seems this tighter integration was quitely rolled out with a software update in the past week. Certainly, it’s been a long time coming, and means WhatsApp addicts no longer have to pull their phone out every time their device buzzes with a new alert.
