We first covered PandaDoc back in October, when the company pitched at The Next Web Mobile Startup Rally in New York. In a nutshell, PandaDoc is a Web and mobile platform designed to help businesses send digital documents enriched with an e-signature, annotations and more. The key difference here, according to PandaDoc, is its focus on simplicity, with a mobile-focused approach.
The main target audience, initially at least, are salespeople who needs to process contracts and documents quickly, with end-users able to use their mouse or finger to sign online. Today’s launch heralds in a refreshed platform, featuring a larger template library and integrations with Nimble CRM, Harvest project manager, Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail, Dropbox, and its own QuoteRoller proposal software.
When a document is sent for (e)signing, PandaDoc can tell you when the recipient has opened, annotated and signed the document. Can PandaDoc challenge incumbents such as EchoSign and DocuSign? Only time will tell, but by focusing on mobile and an easy-to-use platform, this will be one to watch.
A full list of features can be found here, meanwhile, check out the official demo video below.
