Oneforty.com, the ‘Twitter App Store’ has launched a new incentive to help grow Twitter app development with a new badge offering to help boost the profile and credibility of new Twitter apps and Twitter app developers.
The site, launched in March 2009 has rapidly grown to fill the missing ‘app store’ for Twitter by indexing, reviewing and promoting Twitter apps in a wide variety of categories from business apps to analytics and mobile categories. The business, founded by Laura Fitton (@pistachio) recently received $1.6m in investment is also tipped to start selling premium apps next week as part of the site’s continued expansion.
The Badge promotion is another great enhancement to the site which cleverly offers additional exposure for the brand whilst also adding in additional credibility for Twitter app developers. The promoted aim of growing the number of personal reviews will also work to boost the value oneforty offers as the leading Twitter app directory.
