Omni Group CEO Ken Case has made a statement on Twitter that confirms that all of the company’s document based apps for the Mac and iPad, including OmniGraffle, OmniGraphSketcher, OmniOutliner and Omniplan, will be getting iCloud support.

Case says that OmniFocus will not be getting iCloud syncing right away because it already has a free cloud syncing solution and would need to be rebuilt to include iCloud support.

In addition to iCloud support, Case says that its GTD app OmniFocus will gain geofencing as well. This is a location-based alert system that Apple has included in the Reminders app that it announced as part of iOS 5 at WWDC. The geofenced alert system can be seen at work now in the slick iPhone app Dropp.

The Omni Group plans to offer iCloud support on ‘day one’ of iOS 5’s release. OmniFocus v1.10 has been submitted to the App Store for approval. It gains Forecast mode, navigation shortcuts and other improvements.
