Today, Motorola announced it will finally start rolling out the much-anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update globally for the Moto Z and Moto Z Force starting this week.
Something it previously failed to mention, however, is that the handsets are actually the first smartphones from another manufacturer to be recognized by Google as Daydream-ready.
So what does this mean for you? Well, after you’ve updated your Moto Z or Moto Z Force to the latest flavor of Android, you’ll be able to strap it to Google’s Daydream View headset and start exploring all that mobile virtual reality has to offer.
It’s worth noting that although Motorola will start issuing the update this week, there’s a good chance it won’t reach your particular handset until next month as it’ll be making the rounds in stages.
