New Pocket for iPhone update introduces sharing with Kippt, App.net and…Google Chrome

Pocket, the popular “save it later” service formerly known as Read It Later, is today rolling out a brand new update to its iPhone app, version 4.1.3, which introduces sharing with Kippt, App.net and most notably, Google Chrome. The service most recently had released a number of updates to its Chrome app, Chrome extension, Safari extension and bookmarklette early last month.

This update also brings in the following changes:

– Removed pocket.co urls from archival services like Pinboard and Evernote
– Security improvements
– Bug fixes and other minor enhancements

Since July, we’ve known that Pocket has been clocking in some 1M items saved per day, and recently raised $5M from Google Ventures and others.
