The new, updated version of Asus-manufactured Google Nexus 7 (2013) tablet will be available to buy in the UK from August 28, the device maker has confirmed.
The tablet, which was announced for the US at the end of July, comes with either 16GB or 32GB of on-board storage and will cost £199 and £239 respectively from the Google Play store or from high street retailers. There’s no word on a 3G/4G equipped variant arriving any time soon.
Key specs include a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution display, 5-megapixel snapper on the rear and a 1.2-megapixel forward-facing camera, and a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It’ll also be one of the first devices to arrive running the latest version of Android (4.3).
